I was born and raised in New Jersey where I attended a small Catholic grade school and large public high school. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame, where I received my BA in English. Prior to full-time teaching, I worked at Sylvan Learning Centers, was a stay-at-home mom, and then a substitute teacher. I studied education at Indiana Wesleyan and received my teaching license in 2009. I taught for two years at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School outside of Indianapolis, and then moved to the South Bend area where I subbed for one year before finding a home at St. Adalbert. My goals for my students are that they learn to think clearly and critically, and to communicate effectively.
